Poorest of the Poor Empowerment Foundation (POP Empowerment Foundation), as it is commonly known and referred to, was borne out of Love, sympathy and a pure heart engendered by the huge suffering of the poor people that are in dire need of food, clothing, financial support, health care and shelter .
During the COVID-19, we virtually bled in our hearts seeing many families and individual, especially the poorest of the poor, the Widows and the under privileged suffering with great hunger and hardship and desperately needed assistance.
This Foundation was inspired by this unfortunate incident.
We therefore, swung into action to registering the Foundation with the cooperate affairs commission
The Foundation was then registered with the Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC) as a Non- Governmental Organization (NGO) with Registration number 7097593 .
Our prime objective is to enhance the overall well-being and quality of life of individuals ,families and Communities that are marginalized .
We believe with our mantra of putting food on their tables, clothing their nakedness, assisting them financially in their craftsmanship and skill training,as well as education we may have made them more relevant to the society.
To continuously reduce the garment of Unactualized dreams buried in our cemetery, through humanitarian / Welfare services, Vocational training/Education , Empowerment and Mentorship .
To be the Oasis for the lost hope upon which their seeds of survival and greatness will grow and flourish by creating a world where every individual and community has access to basic necessities of life, opportunities, resources and support needed to reach their full potential .
Our Ultimate goal is to alleviate poverty, promote education, improve health and empower individuals that are less privileged
